I loved this recipe.....it was a bit too spicy for my kids though. I will probably use 1 pepper next time or use Anaheims, which are a bit less spicy. But delicious and easy nevertheless!

Sara how could you? I should have taken to heart the rest of the reviews. What a waste of time and ingredients. The glaze was gravy. It was boring. The meat was tender, but anything braised would be tender. The cola was interesting, but I now know that this was a Mexican ingredient because although sugar in Mexican villages was not always available, every store had Coke! I will be kind. Childhood memories are wonderful, unfortunately this dish was not.

The pork and potatoes were tender and the rest of the vegetables were ok. But the combination of orange juice and cola was too bitter and it was a watery broth, not a glaze. Who has time to strain it all and reduce the liquid further? Not sure if the poblanos really added that much flavor. My husband had to put hot pepper sauce on it. Yellow rice is a good accompaniment, though.

Tasty dish. The port was very moist and tender. The orange juice and cola was tasty. I thickened the sauce up with cornstarch. The next time I make this dish I am going to leave at the potatoes. The potatoes became mushy. Served it with yellow rice and sauteed spinach - delicious.

It was alright. Kind of a waste of such a great cut of meat though. Not great.

I saw the show this morning and thought the combination was enticing. I prepared it according to directions but it was more gravy than glaze and lacked flavor. I added the zest of one orange and 2T Gran Marnier at the end and it was just okay. I did not use potatoes as I served it over rice and that was way too much carb but that was my only stray from the recipe. I also think maybe the peppers should go in later so they are more vibrant in color. Not sure.
I really don't know why Sara found this recipe memorable-it was just ok at my house. It is not a repeat for me and I like Sara!

I needed something new to do with pork chops. I made this with fried rice with vegetables. It was quite good!

I usually like Sara's recipes but this one was very tasteless, if it weren't for the peppers it wouldn't have a taste at all, it was just so unusual I had to try it
on the up side the pork was very tender

I liked the ease of making this recipe. I thought it was too sweet. I would like to try it again with less orange juice and coke. Maybe make it a little hot too for contrast.
