I tweaked it a little adding more fresh garlic, red wine, little bit of brown sugar, a bit more red pepper flakes because I like more spice, and I simmered it slowly longer. I served it with angel hair pasta & sprinkled it with Italian parsley & parmigiano reggiano. Very, very tasty. Next time I will use fresh basil bc if it turned out this good with dry, it'll be even better with fresh basil.

Found this recipe tonight when I was looking for a quick marinara sauce for a late supper. I added red wine and fresh oregano and parsley, very tasty! Will definitely use again, thanks!

It was simple delicious and ready in no time. I did double the amount of garlic if not more and used fresh basil and a little of dry oregano. Will use this again and pass it onto friends.

This is a good quick recipe, but it needed a couple of adjustments. First it needs to be cooked about double what it claims, also I would suggest about half the red pepper flakes the recipes recommends.

I love a quick Marinara sauce, and this one fits the bill... I have made it many times before, and it is delicious.

The only change I make is that I use fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese in place of the Romano.
