This is a great marinade! It was so simple and easy and really was wonderful on kabobs with shrimp and chicken!! So fresh tasting!

The lemony marinade really complimented the shrimp and the veggies. Very flavorful and perfect for a summer barbecue.

I did not do everything in this recipe. I actually used the following as a base for a marinade for the prawns.
    1/2 cup olive oil
    3 cloves garlic,
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano,
2 tablespoons of fresh italian parsley,
    5 sweet basil leaves.
    1 lemon, zested and juiced
Unpasturized honey to sweeten (to your taste (i used about 2-3 tablespoons
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

My husband didn't like the lemony flavour (he liked it tangy but a little sweet so I sweeted with fresh honey and this actually smoothed out the flavours I did marinate the prawns for about 2 hours. Once the prawns were grilled, they were fantastic. .
