There is no other way to describe this but absolutely rich and delicious! I received the ulimate compliment when I served this to my husbands friend. He said it was better than is mother's rice pudding! Thanks Emeril

This is SO incredibly delicious and easy to make. This is my first time ever making rice pudding, and it was so simple, creamy, and good. I didn't even have to add the yolks: it was already thick and luscious after I added the cornstarch. I used regular thompson unseeded grapes and Barcadi rum (because it was on hand and the end result was amazing. Yum!

I liked it better warm, but for someone that doesn't like rice pudding, I ate it and I liked it! My husband LOVED it.

I've searched a long time for a good raisin rice pudding and can highly recommend this one. Delicious but not low in calories.

this is a very good but time consuming recipe. I've been tinckering with it a bit because it's rather rich for my taste, I cut out a third of the sugar and replaced the all but the last cup of half and half with milk, and there's no need for it too be whole milk.

    very good though.

I followed the recipe to the letter, however, I didn't cook it the full 45 minutes - It was already thick by 35 minutes - and adding the egg yolks just made it thicker - I prefer a creamier pudding - maybe it need less rice. But, it did have good flavor.
