These were okay, but very, very greasy. I made only half of the topping mixture fearing an entire stick of butter for twelve little rolls would be really greasy. The fat in the cheese and all of that butter was just too much even having cut the butter in half. I don't mind some fat, but this was too much. My family of five took one bite and didn't eat any more. I ended up tossing the pan and they had cost $30 to make. I am disappointed. I just loved the sweet girl on the show and had looked forward to making the recipe.

Just made these tonight, they ROCKED!!! I did use swiss cheese though because gruyere cheese was $21 a pound that was a little pricey for me. Will for sure make them again.

I was so excited when Sunny and Caryn made this recipe together; couldn't wait to make it. This was a very easy dish to make. My husband absolutely loved it. It's flavorful and very unique. I'm going to experiment with different variations as I've never prepared a sandwich like this.
Sunny, I'm looking forward to seeing more of the "Home Made in America" shows!

Wonderful! After seeing it on TV I had to make this. Everyone loved it - I even shared with the neighbors. I bought both the Hawaii Sweet Rolls and the Honey Wheat - could not tell the difference - also used fat free cream cheese.

I made these this morning for my husband and his friends to tailgate with. They didn't make it out of the house. Great recipe, everyone loved them. Next time I will add more ham for the guys.

Make sure you use real butter and do not substitute Margarine, or you will not get that wonderful 'crunch' when you dig in!
