Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (16 ounces) Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up
  • 1 lb. Bob Evans® Zesty Hot Sausage Roll
  • 1 can (10 ounces) Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, (undrained) or one 16 oz. jar of salsa

Directions

Crumble and cook sausage in large saucepan over medium heat until browned. Drain on paper towel then return sausage to saucepan. Cut cheese into cubes and add to sausage. Cook, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted. Stir in tomatoes. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

    I have tried this but had to substitute with white american cheese (only found in the deli at H-E-B that I know of and sharp cheddar as I do not like the taste of jarred or canned cheese at all. It tasted pretty great.
