- 1 head broccoli
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Remove the broccoli florets. Trim the stalk and cut it into pieces. Blanch the broccoli for 3 to 7 minutes. Test to see if it is done after 3 minutes. Shock broccoli in ice water when it is done.
Heat a skillet and add the butter. Add broccoli. Toss to coat and heat, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
