I regularly read reviews but don't write them. I am compelled to write because this recipe was so deliicous, fast and easy. Only change I made was to reserve the golden garlic cloves and add them to the beans in the blender with the clam liquid. Although I am a salt person, I forgot to add it and it was perfect without it - I guess because the canned beans are salted and the clams themselves are too. I also used dreid chil arbols (3 small chopped instead of fresh because I had it and like it more spicy. Having bought the clams at the Farmer's Market, I didn't have to scrub the clams so it was so easy. This will be a regular at our house.
