I can't wait to try this with a splash of gin -- I really liked that idea from the show! Really good, really interesting flavors! I loved the addition of fresh thyme -- wondering if you could substitute anything there for interest? Rosemary? Any other ideas? Delicious as-is!

A stunning beverage to serve for guests. Add gin and it's even more delicious.

I absolutely love unusual cocktail combinations and this one very well might be our new "porch pounder" this summer. For a dinner party we made these with Gin (like Janet suggested and the flavor was outstanding! Toasting the spices was super easy and gave the drink an extra special warm, earthy quality. I'm trying it again today without the booze (it is a school night after all and am sure it will be great.
