And this is directed to the two "cooks" who were grossed out by Paula's finger-dippin'. Clearly, you have never cooked in the southern United States. I felt compelled to read these reviews as the recipe looked great and I was curious why it had only averaged three stars. Just goes to show you - it only takes a couple of jerks to underrate a good recipe. BTW...for the two of you who are so "grossed out" - I wouldn't bring up this subject in a restaurant. If you irritate the server or cook there's no telling WHAT may happen to your food before it hits the table. Then again, go ahead....a little spit never killed anybody!

The recipe is great!!! The show is produced to entertain you; not to be a lesson in hygene!!! I can't believe that you made such a big deal about Paula double dipping the batter. You would die if you could have seen what your own mom did in the kitchen!!! Family cooking is cooking from the heart and is meant to be fun!!! She washed her hands before cooking. Remember this is a cooking show, enjoy Paula's home spun recipes and lighten up!!!!

Please use the star rating system to rate the recipe and not the chef/cook. You are doing a disservice to others who really want to know if the recipe works.
If you don?t like what the chef does during recipe preparation, please don?t watch the show. We live in a country that is hyper about the H1N1 Flu, so we all know about cross contamination.

Paula, can you have Mama Dip back on your program.
I missed her last time. Can FTV replay that segment?
BTW, did you know, she makes 'fool proof' pie crust.
