This salmon salad was quick and easy to make...and quite tasty! After reading previous reviews, I decided to use 1 tbsp of coarse mustard, and 1 tbsp of light mayo in the place of 2 tbsp of dijon mustard. I also used one shallot instead of the red onion for a milder flavor, and added some lemon pepper grinder seasoning to turn up the flavor a notch. Love, love, loved it!

My husband and I truly enjoyed this recipe. I did not use capers. We do not have them in the pantry. I also used 1Tbsp of regular Dijon mustard with chardonay instead of Dijonnaise. Added additional tsp of salt. It needed it without the capers. I will definately make this again. I will also try with tuna. Thanks.

Excellent recipe. Just not to our taste.
My husband and I believe it was probably the capers because capers are not in our pantry. And yes, I did drain them. Perhaps I should have rinsed them as well (we are lowering sodium in our diets.
Hubby thinks it was the dijonaise - he's not a fan of the product. (I'm liking it while I'm getting away from mayo. Whatever it was, neither of us would look to make it again.

That said, we did ***eat the WHOLE thing***

Referring to the poster who said there was way too much mustard, we disagree. And I am NOT a mustard fan. Perhaps that poster used dijon mustard instead of dijonaisse?

I can't believe anything this low in calories could be so good! I couldn't find the recommended dijonnaise so I used Grey Pupon creamy dijon.

I thought this was really tasty. The only addition I made was to add some tabasco.

Disappointed. Way too much mustard. may try again with more cream cheese and much less mustard.

This was a wonderful, creamy salad. It makes 2 large servings and left me very satisfied. I can't wait to try it with tuna. I will make it again.
