I love knudi. I have made them a few times in the past. But this recipe was so overly complicated to make it in the 30 minutes shown, I would have needed a sous chef's help! The taste was no better than the easier recipes I have used in the past. This recipe is not easy as it's listed. Trying Giada's knudi recipe next.

We were not wowed in the least. I even went to the trouble to make my own ricotta. Just didn't do it for us. Admittedly, I substituted several types of mushrooms (what I could find for what was called for, but the gnudi themselves were kind of bland. It needed much more. Maybe we are just not a fan of dumplings.... Won't try this again.

The gnudi was ok, but it needed more breadscrub or flour. It wasn't as tasty as I expected. Compare to the sauce, I prefer the gnudi than the sauce though.

I thought it would be better. The gnudi really didn't have a great taste, but the sauce was great. Family really didn't like the looks of the dish. Won't make again.

Took way longer to make. Gnudi needed about 2T each more flour and panko. They were good. Found the sauce tasty but the whole dish lacked visual appeal. Not worth the time and effort.
