I have made this recipe twice. The first time I made it my husband talked about it for two weeks. Therefore, I made it again at the end of the second week. This will definitely be one of our staple dishes. Don't forget to make the crostini. Thanks to the Deen family on another wonderful recipe.

Very good cioppino I just thought the amount of thyme was a little to much next time I will use 1/2 teaspoon instead of the full teaspoon, other then that it was good.

We have been looking at making some sort of seafood stew, and when we saw Paula make this dish, it was exactly what we were looking for. We used halibut as our white fish, and riesling as our white wine. Was a little apprehensive on the clams, had not cooked with them before. Did add 8 ounces of tomato sauce, to add a little more consistancy to tomatoes. If there was 1 meal that I had to eat for the rest of my life, this would be it. Great recipe.

I have had it in restaurants many times with many variations. This recipe is great because it is simple and doesn't have EVERY fish in the sea in the dish. I used 2 teaspoons of crushed red pepper which would be way too much for many. And red snapper for the fish because there was no good looking cod today but other than that went exactly with the recipe including the time to simmer vegetables and the broth. With bread makes enough to feed 4 hungry people. Will serve again many times.

This is one our favorite soups and now to be able to make it ourselves and have it turn out perfect the first time! It was full of great flavors. We added just a little more pepper flakes than called for but otherwise followed recipe. Can't say much more than how easy and delicious this is!
