Seared Macadamia Crusted Tuna

Ingredients
  • 2 pound sushi-grade tuna
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons canola oil
Directions

Cut tuna into 6 blocks. Salt and pepper all sides of the fish. Roll in the egg white and then into the nuts. Sear in a lightly oiled cast iron pan to desired doneness.
