This dish was surprisingly delicious given how easy it was to make! I made this on a cold winter night, so rather than go out and a lemons, I used what I had in the fridge: orange, strawberry, banana juice. The sweetness of the juice added an interesting layer of flavor that I found quite pleasant. I also used frozen basil. Made no difference - I was extremely happy with this dish and highly recommend it if you're looking for a quick way to create a flavorful meal.

We loved it. My husband says he would eat it again and we gave it a 10 out of 10.

i had to use halibut fillets instead of the mahi since the fish market did not have mahi steaks for me. i grilled each fillet for 5-6 minutes each side and it turned out perfect. the zesty basil butter was a great addition especially since it got cooked into the fish. also i added a little paprika and breadcrumbs to give it a little crust and seasoning. will definitely make again!! thank you paula and the deen brothers.

My friend and I run a day care. Every week we pride ourselves on serving at least one serving of fish. Mahi Mahi has long time been a favorite of mine and beings as how I am in charge of menu writing I choose this fish often. We have baked, breaded, coated, fried, and everything else! Some are hits others not. This was A HUGE HIT!! Every kid in care loved it!! My friend and I both wanted more ;o( there wasn't any left!

My son came back from a charter fishing trip with a cooler full of Dolphin fish so we immediately started searching for recipes to cook the Mahi Mahi. My husband found this one and we decided to try it. We served it that night to a table fulll of seafood lovers and we all agreed it was DELICIOUS!

Although i made some changes..i used lime juice since we dont get lemons all year round in Jamaica...and used butter fish fillets instead of Mahi Mahi. It was just great and so flavorful, I serve the fish with the Couscous that Paula cooked in the same show have made it twice already. The best part is it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to cook everything....THANKS Paula !!!

Amazing! I baked the fish instead of frying it for fewer calories. And to make the butter sauce go further, I added chicken stock-it blended all the flavors beautifully. Definitely will be adding this to my list for dinner parties.

I used Grouper (a Florida fish instead of Mahi Mahi because I just caught it fresh. I made this recipe exactly and it was delicious. My husband was impressed with the presentation with the basil leaf garnish and the lemon slices. I would make it again and again. The butter sauce was so good. It was like going to a restaurant.
