This turned out really nice Baklava, never really worked with the phyllo sheets, but just did one precaution, took out 3 sheets at a time and rolled back the rest into the packet, that way my sheets never dried.
Just changed one thing did not put drizzle honey over the baklava after they were made, I personally don't like so much sweet and the fact that they become sticky.
    Worked for me!!

I had no idea what I was getting myself into with phyllo dough. It was the most frustrating thing in the world. Mine was dry and it broke in several pieces. But I wanted to make this baklava so bad for my boyfriend even though I don't even like Baklava. I still made it with the broken phyllo dough and it turned out pretty good. I tasted it and for someone like me who doesn't like Baklva, I actually ate some because it was that good. All I recommend is that if you've never worked with phyllo dough, do a little research to handle it well so you won't be frustrated like me. But other than my own lack of culinary skills, I thought this baklava recipe was good and I will definitely try it again in the near future after I learn how to work better with phyllo.

These turned out fabulous and are definately going to be on the table this year for the holidays. I probably did use twice as many nuts as she did and I did use walnuts only because that is the way I have always had Baklava, even in Greece. If you turn the bites on their side when they are warm and drizzel the honey on them it sinks inside nicely. My only complaint is that since I had one of the packs of dough opoened and each pack has about 24 sheets, I should have thought to double the recipe and use up the opened pouch. Definately, if you want really sweet and goopy add more honey on the inside when you are making them.

This was super easy and took about 1/4 of the time of traditional baklava. Even my Turkish grandmother-in-law was impressed with this method, although she said the filling needs lemon zest - I'll try that next time. I also agree with other reviewers that it's rude and not at all helpful to review recipes that you haven't even made!! Give Sandra a break.

I used the standard practice of keeping the phyllo under damp paper towels too keep it from becoming difficult to work with/dry... and had no problems with this. While I'm normally not a big fan of Sandra Lee's recipes, I have to admit, if you know what you're doing, this one is a keeper. The only change I made was to brush the dough with real melted butter as opposed to the cooking spray.

This recipe was really easy and tasted great! I used walnuts instead of pistachios and I added a bit of nutmeg in with the cinnamon. Everyone at work loved these rollups--and best of all, they tasted like I spent a ton of time making them. A great treat for only a little time!

I made these for our monthly "Family Dinner" for the adults and the kids wanted to try them! Very easy considering it was my first time using phyllo dough. This recipe is keeper, I just need to use more honey to keep them from being dry. Oh, and I used all walnuts instead of the almonds and pistacios.

My mother came to visit & brought the ingredients in with her to make this. She had already tried it at home & knew we would like it also. She was right!!! Yum.
