There is too much beer, so I have modified the recipe and cut that in half. I also added a few more slices of bacon, and now it is wonderful.

Planning on taking this on a camping trip, I made this and froze it in the freezer for about 2 weeks. I added a couple of sliced hot sausages to the recipe. It was very tasty. No too spicy. There were no leftovers. I plan to make this again.

The beans were good. I did cut my beer in half. This seemed to help. They were a great consistency and good flavor.

I thought these beans had a great flavor. My boyfriend and I loved them! I could really taste the beer and the mustard.

I let them cook for over 1 1/2 hours and they were still very runny. All you could taste was the beer!

Love these beans. The beer added some really good flavor and if you cook them long enough they will be thick and rich. I added some green pepper to the mix...which if you read the recipe...are supposed to cook down a little before adding to the beans. If they are runny then leave them in the oven longer than it calls for. I think a little liquid smoke might be good too. I have to laugh at some of these posts. I've never seen such meanness for no reason! Sounds like jealousy to me. If you don't like Sandra's show...don't watch it! I like it. And canned beans are part of the 'semi-homeade' part. If you're a food snob, then no doubt this show isn't for you. This is a show for people like me who like the homemade touch but don't have the time. Keep it up Sandra. I love your themes. I get great party ideas.
