    I decided to make these for company. They were a big hit. I don't usually like baked beans very much, but I really liked these.

    I have friends who make everything from scratch. We decided to make baked beans at the last minute for a BBQ and we just happened to have these ingredients in the house. Although unexpected due to poor reviews, we thought these were great! The beer added a nice twist.
    I would not choose to make this particular recipe for my children when there are so many others to choose from...for those that are more mature, please give these a try :

    I had a BBQ and wanted to whip something up quickly and with little prep. This was very easy and very tasty. Everyone from the kids to the adults.

    These beans were easy to make and so tasty too. We all really like them. I had to do the final cooking in the slow cooker because I didn't want to turn the oven on because it was hot but the beans turned out fine. We'll make these delicious beans again
