Obviously this recipe is meant to be extremely sweet but I have a huge sweet tooth so I thought I'd give it a try. The drink smells lovely at first and the initial 2 or 3 sips were yummy. After that I just got nauseous. However, I tried using just 1 tablespoon each of condensed milk and butterscotch and less than 1 tsp. of butter with a can of vanilla creme soda to make one individual serving and the results were much better. I suggest playing around with proportions to suit your own taste.

I think this would be really great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if served hot. My daughter and I loved it, but we have decided to cut the amount of milk.

I agree with other reviewers that this drink is SUPER sweet--but cut the sweetness and turn into into an adult beverage by adding Vanilla Vodka at the end. It also takes the sour milk taste out of the drink. As an alcoholic beverage, this is a very tasty winter-time drink. Can't wait to serve it at Halloween.

Please stop before you attempt to serve this drink...it's just plain disgusting.

Using the vanilla creme soda with the butterscotch sauce was extremely sweet. I re-made the sauce and added some to heated milk. This was much better! The sauce would also be good served over ice cream or warm pound cake.

This was so delicious and everyone loved it. I love anything with condensed milk and/or butterscotch. I don't understand some of the lower ratings and comments for this drink. Kids and adults loved it in my family.

I love creative drink recipes, but this one nearly made me empty the contents of my stomach all over my dinner party. Beware!

I made this for my three kids. One really liked it. The other two thought it was just too sweet. I also thought it was too sweet. Next time I might not put as much butterscotch in.

This stuff was delicious. Wouldn't recommend drinking it often, but it seems to be the best dessert beverage I've ever had. I will most likely keep it in mind for Christmas or other holiday meals.
