My kids love butterscotch, but why waste it with so many empty calories? I made 1/4 of the yield of this recipe, just for them to taste it out. They asked me if they could just have ice cream instead. Try this: the butterscotch-in-a-bottle mixed with just a bit of butter, microwaved, and drizzled over ice cream. Healthier, and it doesn't violate intellectual property rights.
