now, I want you to come in here and BALL these! You guys that insist that this idiot can cook are hysterical...but hey, maybe she will give you all one of her Kitchen Aid Mixers as a thanks for kissing my tushy door prize...or here's an idea MISS LEE, instead of wasting all that money on each new set with color coordinated EVERYTHING for each of your DORKY ideas, give the money to the RED CROSS...but then, what would your show be about Sandy Poo...since there is no substance to it at all...IT'S ALL ABOUT PRESENTATION...who gives a crap about taste and quality? (certainly not you

So good and quick! The cookies were very good when warm and first baked, but did tend to dry out a bit once cooled. Roll the dough? I must have missed that step... I just used it as drop cookies like most all the cookies we make. Good suggestion to use a mix with chips... or add them... also possible variation is to use "craisins" rather than raisins. Maybe even a few chopped nuts. I believe this "my way" or Ms. Lee's way fits Emeril's definition of a recipe which is loosely anything you put together to cook up any dish that is not a "bread"... he insists "breads" are formulas that you don't tinker with cause they flop... but, hey, recipes you can mess with any way you want! Might even mix the oats with 1-2T. of H20 before mixing in to the dough to get the cookies to be more moist next time. More oil could make too greasy/oily... or too chewy like almost uncooked! Some butter might be OK but tends to be a "crisp" cookie and not adding much toward being "moist". This recipe warrants a few attempts at tweeking, but if tweeking is not better then the original will be a nice alternative to our favorite non-chocolate oatmeal craisin cookie!

These cookies were great! I am often suprised that Sandra seems to get such poor reviews. If you have some patience and follow the directions exactly everything comes together nicely. While she sometimes cuts corners where it's not necessary, she usually comes up with easy ways to make some very yummy dishes. I'm convinced that some people can't read.

This is a great recipe! Sandra's desserts are so quick and tasty! Unfortunate that some people have trouble with semi homemade recipes and end up with sand!

My instincts told me that using brownie mix to make cookies was a bad idea. I should have listened.

Oatmeal raisin w/ a brownie taste. Good, but naturally dry. Will try again adding more liquid.

What a simple recipe! Just combine and bake! The one thing I changed from the posted recipe is that the brownie mix I used also had chocolate chips added. I also found it easer to combine all of the ingredients if I used my Kitchenaid mixer. This is quck and easy and uses things I usually keep in my kitchen cabinets anyway.

I tried the recipe. I couldn't get everything to mix. I had to add 1/2 cup of water to get the brownie mix and oatmeal to mix together. They tasted ok but I would have liked the cookies to be a little moister. Too dry for my liking.

I don't know if it was the brownie mix that i used or what, but it looked nothing like it did on tv. I had to add a little bit of water to it. I'll use less oatmeal if I try it again. It was also very messy to roll the dough, it may have something to do with the water that I added. They just weren't all that great, even my 13 year old thought they weren't all that great
