I cut red meat out of my diet but these looked too good to pass up. So I substitued ground turkey. I too had a hard time finding the ginger teriyaki marinade so I put in some teriyaki sauce and some ground ginger in with the meat. These burgers came out great! Also, for dessert I used the rest of the pineapple rings with cinnamon and suger and grilled them up. What a treat!

This was great especially bbqed with hickory chips. Recommendation: If you don't like wasabi you can use horse raddish or just skip that part of it. If you don't want to make the sause/mayo use a honey or dijon mustard.

I have IBS, and there are a lot of hidden ingredients in processed foods that I am unable to digest, one of which is heaven-forbid Sorbitol. Thus, I had to omit the wasabi paste. I also omitted the onion soup mix and substituted a packet of meat seasoning. HUGE mistake! Instead of the pineapple juice, I used teriyaki, which I love, and in place of the soy sauce I used my very fave Ponzu soy sauce.

All-in-all, the burgers weren't bad, just EXTREMELY salty! I was not able to finish my burger, and hubby complained of the salt in his too. Also, they were very messy. I do think this recipe is salvage-able, however. Next time, I'll omit the beef seasoning packet entirely, as well as the wasabi paste, the onion soup mix, and of course the salt.

I had trouble finding the ginger teriyaki marinad so I use a liquid teriyaki with pineapple juice and I added ginger and skipped the pineapple juice. The wasabi, soy sauce & mayo just a taste by it self was not good but on the burger oh my gosh it is the best. I will make this again.

I really liked this burger because the teriyaki sauce wasn't overpowering. We didn't use wasabi but the mayo and soysauce were awesome together. Great burger and easy to make. My husband loves pineapples so this one will go in our rotation!

I made these but I also added grill seasoning, worchestershire sauce and a packet of sazon to the mixture. I also melted swiss on the burgers. I will definately have these again!

I made these last night, and my family was amazed, not only by the fact I actually cooked, but by how delicious these were! I went a little crazy and chopped up some bacon and monterey jack cheese and put that right into the meat before I cooked it, then topped it with more cheese and bacon. The wasabi mayo is excellent! Even my sister and dad, who don't like to try new things, enjoyed it. I'll definately be making these great and easy burgers more often!
