I took liberties with the pasty folding. Everyone at the party wanted this recipe a real crowd pleaser even the guys loved this recipe. I added more cheese.
Sprinkle cheese on work surface, gently roll pastry over cheese. Brush pastry with egg wash, sprinkle cheese mixture over pastry sheet. Loosly roll the two short sides, jelly rool style, to meet in the center (do not coil too tigtly Cut pastry roll 3/8 slices. Chill pastry rolls first for easy slicing. More egg wash and cheese.

I have made these a couple of times and friends all want the recipe. They are very pretty and easy finger food, I usually make a double batch. Everyone loves the cheese flavor. Thanks Sandra.....

These were very easy to make and quite delicious. However, my cheese-loving sister-in-law said they could use more cheese. So next time I'm going to increase the 1/4 cup of Italian cheese to 1/2 cup.

...but I'd love to try the delicious-sounding recipe. The folding directions are confusing to me - please advise.

I heated oven, sliced 1/8", but they got way took over cooked. Otherwise they were good. I added some granulated garlic too for extra flavor.
Would try again, but cook less.
