This was a deliscious and easy dessert! I used wine glasses to serve this dessert. For 4 wine glasses I doubled the recipe. Quick dessert with minimal preparation....the best!

Saw her make this today and am looking forward to trying this. My husband son and I typically have themed dinner nights, particularly around the first week of the Olympics (good timing where we have a dinner from a different country each night. This will be a perfect quick dessert on Italian night, though I'll leave out the orange flavored alcohol - just another expense in the dish. It'll be a good use up for some instant espresso I have left over from Giada's espresso brownies (another great recipe!. Thanks Sandra - can't wait to try this one!

Good idea for a quick and easy dessert. However the amount of alcohol is way too much. I would reduce it by half. I made this recipe just as written except I couldn't find lady fingers so I had to use those little shortcakes you find near the strawberries. I put them in the bottom of ramekins then ladeled the coffee / liquor over them, topped with pudding (I used regular, not sugar-free, and voila. My husband really liked it but agreed the alcohol made it really bitter. Next time I might even used rum instead of the triple sec that I used. There is enough orange flavor in the pudding from the orange extract (that was delicious. I couldn't find cheesecake flavored pudding so I used French Vanilla. Very good. Overall a good idea just cut back on the liquor. If I wanted my throat to burn again I'd just have a shot instead.
