You cannot freeze vodka in your freezer unless it reaches somewhere between -20º to -100º C. Thanks again Food Network! Keep up the good work.

Absolutely a fun dessert! We've made this several times with different flavorings, including the peanut butter and chocolate blend - my husband's favorite. Last week we added malt powder with a dash of home made vanilla extract and now my husband can't decide which is his favorite. We'll also be trying the cherry variety, which should make him even more indecisive. Thanks, Sunny...

To Chef #409798 - storing Vodka in the freezer merely makes it seriously cold - perfect for martinis - but alcohol doesn't freeze solid.

Loved the recipe but was not able to freeze the vodka. What's the trick to freezing the vodka?

This drink is awesome. I used vanilla vodka and added vanilla extract. I mixed chocolate syrup and peanut butter in the drink. WOW! I can't wait to make this drink for some friends.

Refreshing treat on a sunny southern Cali afternoon. I added a bit more vodka ;-
and skipped the chocolate in the first batch (not a fan. Really enjoyed the cinnamon & nutmeg in the vanilla version.

Great way to spend the afternoon/evening sitting on the patio. Thanks Sunny.

OK, so I changd the recipe a bunch... However, I give Sunny TWO THUMBS UP for the concept. OOPS!!! I forgot to measure the vodka, (I think I used more than 3 tbsp and I used 3 Olives CHERRY vodka, and then I used cherry vanilla ice cream (I used less than one cup and a big squeeze of chocolate syrup. So I guess you could say I switched the cinnamon and nutmeg for the cherry and WOW!!! I had an AWESOME chocolate covered cherry!!! ENJOY!!! Generously served two!

I made this drink for friends the same day I saw it on the show. I added a little more vodka but it wasn't even necessary; it really has a serious kick to it. I love it!!! This is one of my new favorites. We made several batches of it and experimenting with different flavors each time. We tried caramel syrup as well as butterscotch. They were all just as good as the chocolate.

I made these for a neighborhood party. We used raspberry, orange & chocolate vodka with the ice cream. We couldn't decide which one was best so another party has been planned around cookie baking next month.
