I had some cajun seasoning from Penzey's and this made the shrimp sing. I never use dried bouillon, I use broth paste or from the can, so much better and less salt. I loved the grits, could have eaten more. I think the top sauce I'd thin out some more, easily done with more broth. I made the shrimp and sauce ahead of time, then when ready to eat, I quickly heated the shrimp and sauce through again, made the grits and assembled the dish. All in all a simple dish and something different here in NY!

I've always wanted to try the shrimp and grits combo. There were so many on here to choose from, but the photo is what brought me to this way. And I am so glad that it did. This recipe is soooo AMAZING. With just the right amount of spice for that perfect kick. The grits were so smooth and creamy. I will be making this again real soon, it is definitely a keeper!

Fabulous! We've tried many different shrimp and grits recipes, and this is the one we will be sticking with. Fantastic.

This dish was delicious! And pretty simple to make. My husband loved it and begged me to cook it again. This will definitely be added to my inventory of great dishes!

Wow! I've been wanting to try this for quite a while now. The sweetness of the tomato paste with the creaminess of the grits just go SO well with the shrimp and ham. Tons of flavor. What a great find!
Outstanding.

The shrimp and sauce were absolutely delicious. However, I would recommend preparing the grits without the cheese. The cheesy grits took away some of the flavor of the shrimp and sauce.

Delicious! I was craving shrimp and grits from a local but expensive restaurant but decided to give this a try. My only criticism is that the amount of spices needed for the shrimp could be lowered because of the salty taste once all the ingredients are plated.
