    I usually come to this website to get recipes, but thanks to you I joined. You are incredibly rude. The "ALL CAPS" review you refer to was wriiten by a child! I am flagging your comment because it had nothing to do with the recipe. The recipe is great, you not so much!!!

    MY MOM AND MY DAD WENT TO THAI BAISIL WERE YOU HAD THE SHRIMP THAI BAISIL THROWDOWN I THOUGT THAT WAS SO COOL BECUASE I WATCH IRON CHEF AMERICA AND THROWDOWN WITH BOBBY FLAY AND ALL YOUR OTHER SHOWS WHEN I GROW UP I WANNA GO TO COLONARY SCHOOL AND BATTLE YOU IN IRON CHEF OR CAT CORA

    While this was a relatively inexpensive experiment, it was truly disappointing. The collective time of prep to plating was 3+ hours and the end result was not good. I look forward to trying other pad thai recipes. Please avoid this headache.
    I thought the recipe was amazing when I started with the thai basil/orange emulsion...and it went terribly downhill from this point.
    PS. I loved this Throwdown episode! but the recipe provided is POOR.
