I tried this recipe on Christmas Day, I followed all of the ingredients listed and fantastic taste and I used white wine, cream, chicken broth .....I was a little bit heavy with the cayenne pepper.....but it did not hurt.

Then I had a request for an encore performance from both my wife and daughter, but this time I went to my own standard and I used curry and ginger instead of cayenne pepper. I also diced up some onion, mushroom and sweet potato along with the celery, carrots.....and boy it taste great.

Everyone luvs this dish and I received props in the kitchen.

I love this recipe and I am thinking about using it with chicken, ground beef and pork. The funny thing however it is not too far away from basically biscuits and gravy, but with a touch of finesse.

I used the Pepperidge Farms Pre-Puff Pastry Shells and it was pretty easy.

I learned something fun and new and I will use this recipe in the future.

I used the "pre-puff-pastry shells" from pepperidge farms. I used baby shrimp also. The aroma was wonderful. But when I started adding in the cream, it was not thickining like I would have liked. I followed instructions, but it looked thicker on the video. But my boyfriend loved it. It was great, I just had a hard time letting it thicken. Other than that I would do again!!!!

I loved this recipe! I substituted old bay seasoning for the cayenne pepper (my kids and husband do NOT like spicy and I also added scallops. I have made this alot and from start to finish it's about 40 min. It looks and tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen. Compared to other recipies I make this is one of the simplest I've found. Very filling and highly recomended!

I made this last night and it was delicious! I did make a few changes based on prior reviews: I used pre-made puff pastry shells. I used some chopped onion and garlic in addition to the carots, celery and mushrooms. I sprinkled a little flour over the vegetables after they were sauteed and added chicken broth in addition to the wine to make a sauce. Since I used chicken broth and flour, I cut the heavy cream to 2 TB, just to add a little creaminess. It was great! My family loved it, so I will definitely make this again.

O.K., but too much work and ingredients involved. Needs to be overhauled by using Sandra Lee's Semi - Homemade method. Please pass it on to her to be re-vamped.
By the way ---- when the heck is our cook ever going to work sans her everlastingly distracting sweater. Seems like she's ready to run out the door before finishing her tasks.

I made this for my daughters baby shower! It was a huge hit both in taste and presentation. I used the frozen pastry cups, this made it so much easier! In fact I am making it again tonight for dinner and to bring to my daughters when we go visit our new granddaughter!

one of the few recipes that followed what was in the episode! Only thing I would change is less heavy cream. Very easy to do.

I am newbie at cooking. I saw this recipe on tv and decided to try it. It was good! I added a little more salt and it was delicious. I think I might reheat the leftovers and put the sauce on angel hair pasta to see how it will taste.

I made this recipe while my sister was here visiting and it was wonderful! The sauce was "sinfully delicious". The fresh thyme and the hint of cayenne pepper was a match made in Heaven. I think this is the best thing I have ever made, my sister is still raving about it. Compliments to Sunny on this one. Awesome, Awesome.
