While the pancake batter mixed into a great pouring consistency, cooked into a nice fluffy pancake, and had a great texture, they were lacking in flavor. I didn't get the buttery flavor that I usually like out of a pancake, and my husband and I thought they were pretty bland. Not even the peanut butter, apple sauce, and syrup I smeared all over the top of them could help save these pancakes.

This recipe is so easy and so tasty! I like how the melted butter is already incorporated into the batter so you don't have to mess with greasing the pan for each pancake. You could do lots of variations with it like add chocolate chips, fruit, etc...highly recommend! I made a half batch and got (4 1/4-cup pancakes.

Not the best pancakes I have ever made. I thought they were ok. The butter taste was nice, didn't feel the need to add any to the tops when done. They were thin though. Can't see how others were complaining it wasn't thin enough. I like mine a bit thicker, you know, pan, cake! Over all an easy recipe to make and quick too!

I got up this morning looking to make homemade pancakes. This is a great recipe. This will also work if you kids are allergic to eggs & milk you can use egg re-placers and rice milk. It is great. Also I did put in Butter flavoring. Melt in your mouth.

I was skeptical at first b/c there aren't many ingredients and it's just so easy. But these pancakes were AMAZING! I agree with some of the other comments that a small dash of vanilla adds great flavor. I also suggest that if you like to butter your pancakes to use salted butter and then pour over pure maple syrup. Those 2 things make them extra wonderful!
