These pancakes are light, delicious and simple to make in the morning. Why use the boxed stuff when these are so easy?

This was a great recipe. I added vanilla extract and cinnamon. The consistency was light and fluffy. This is the best homemade recipe I have made. I only was able to get 6 pancakes out of the recipe, not 10-12 that it indicated.

The other day I had such a craving for pancakes that I could hardly contain myself. I didn't have any pancake mix or syrup, so I went online and found this recipe. These pancakes are awesome. They are so light and fluffy and satisfying. I added 1 Tsp. of Vanilla to my batter and a touch more sugar. I had some fresh blueberries around so I made a simple blueberry sauce for a topping. Phenomenal!

I just made these, with a few alterations. I used 1/2 whole wheat flour, and because my batter ended up being so thick, I had to add about 1/2 C more buttermilk.. until I had the consistency that I wanted/needed. I also added a small handful of coconut flakes and some chopped pecans. I served with berries on top and warmed pure maple syrup.. YUM!!!! I'm sure that if I had made it as the recipe called for, it would've been the right consistency. :- But a great bacic recipe.. thank you!

These pancakes are almost as good as restaurant styled pancakes. They are light and fluffy and easy to make!

This recipe is so simple with ingredients found in every kitchen. There's absolutely no reason to use those prepackaged pancake mixes which all have a bad after taste!! These pancakes taste great. I've also made them with 1 cup of blueberries mixed in the batter for excellent blueberry pancakes. Prefer a thinner batter, so I use 1 & 1/4 cups of butter milk. If I have it on hand, I've also made them with 1 cup of butter milk and 1/4 cup of whipping cream or half&half, for a richer taste. Plenty of room to experiment, but a great basic recipe!
