I love this recipe! I first found it in her cookbook and have loved it ever since. This is something better for a weekend meal versus a weeknight meal because it does take some time. I have also changed the beef to chicken and it is just as awesome.

Eh and isn't this the same recipe on the back of the can?

I had to do major, MAJOR tweaking to make it edible for my family.

We LOVE enchiladas in our house. So, after watching this episode, I was VERY excited to try this recipe, but I found the flavor to be off and it was rather soupy. Definitely NOT a keeper for my recipe collection!!!!

Very labor intensive. Not good flavor. Fell apart. Very soupy. Very heavy. The first recipe I've ever made from Paula's show that we didn't eat and threw out. (I know it wasn't Paula's recipe.

Very good indeed, and I used shrimp instead of ground beef. Numerous steps and lots of pans so it's not as Simple as the name indicates. Not for a quick meal, but I will make again!

Looks great, although posted recipe is a little different than the one on the show!

I watched Ree cook this on Paula Deen's show and knew I had to try it! It was a little work to make, but worth the effort! Layers of flavor! It got rave reviews from my family and I will definitely make it again and share the recipe with friends!

This is the same recipe my grandmother used for her enchiladas and she was from Oklahoma also! The only difference was she stacked hers and put a fried egg on the top just before serving them! Mmmm good!
