ADD A TEASPOON OF VANILLA! There is no flavor otherwise. It's a really good recipe, though. If runny, then add a spoonful or more of flour until the consistency is correct. I omit the butter because it doesn't make a difference in my waffles. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I used about a half a cup less milk and about a tablespoon more butter. The batter is rather runny if you follow the recipe, which is why I cut some of the milk. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I think they turned out pretty well. I ended up using 2 cups flour, 2 cups milk, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and a splash of vanilla extract. Everything else was the same. This made 4 large Belgian waffles and they turned out nice and fluffy and golden brown! I only gave this recipe 4 stars because they still tasted like the were missing something... I may try a little more vanilla extract next time and see if that does it. item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is my "go to" waffle recipe. It is very simple and easy. When I purchased my waffle iron at Macy's Black Friday sale, I used this recipe. I love my waffle iron and homemade waffles. No more "Eggo" waffles. item not reviewed by moderator and published
My waffles did not come out right so im never using this recipe again item not reviewed by moderator and published
I doubled the recipe, To get the batter right, I had to add an extra cup of flour to the mix! It is a little eggy but my kids could care less. Definitely dense waffles but not terrible. I will not use this recipe again though. item not reviewed by moderator and published
Dont waste your time and ingredients on this recipe.Taste awlful :( item not reviewed by moderator and published
Have to add a couple tablespoons of oil extra flower, extra sugar and chocolate syrup - turned out good item not reviewed by moderator and published
Quick & easy to make, but very disappointing. I followed the recipe exactly. Tasted too 'eggy'. I won't make this again. item not reviewed by moderator and published
This recipe is off. The waffles don't turn out....Unfortunately, I doubled it and after making two "waffles" with it, I have to dump a massive amount of batter. These come out like marshmallow goo...There is no texture to these at all... item not reviewed by moderator and published
