My husband is not a fan of mole, but he LOVES this one!! The sesame seeds and peanuts seems a little odd, but they are SO GOOD in this recipe!! This was simple and quick to make also!

This is a relatively easy, delicious mole! My gringo husband and I LOVED it, and it is so rich and filling. We ate some the first night and froze leftovers for later. I omitted the peanuts, but enojyed it with the lime and cilantro. Thank you for making a classic latino dish very accessible to the home cook!

I watched the show. I love chocolate and Mole. My mother used to say they can poison me with Mole. But sorry what you made was not mole. You should of just bought the mole out of a can, since you don't cook the chicken either. The peanuts on top were a joke. The whole recipe was a joke. You shouldn't get a single star for this.

I can't believe Ingrid butchered a classic Mexican dish. This has barely any resemblance to the real thing. Mole is the way it is because it takes TIME and 30+ INGREDIENTS to make. Olive oil?? 1, yes ONE chile?!? Canned tomatoes?? oh and to top it all off ROTISSERIE CHICKEN????? definately NOT mole and to those who have never tried the real deal and make this recipe, please don't be disilusioned. Mole should be done right, not in 20 minutes in a less than mediocre way.

This was my second time making mole but I really loved this recipe! I made some modifications according to what I had in my pantry. I used sweetened cocoa powder to taste instead of unsweetened chocolate. I was very happy with the results, since the last time I made it I used an outdated recipe from an old Sunset magazine and had to boil the chicken. Didn't work out very good. Thanks, Ingrid!

This recipe was just great. Next time, I would cut the recipe in half. It makes a lot of food!

Thanks so much, Ingrid, for a fast and delicious recipe for mole. I was taught by my mother, who was taught by my aunt (who spent most of her adult life in Mexico City, and I've been making their recipe for years. My husband and I just love your recipe. It has that authentic, took forever to make taste, and yet so quick and easy!

Yuck! If this is what mole is supposed to taste like, I will not be trying mole ever again! This smelled good but I think the peanut butter and chocolate did it in, it was not good at all, we ended up throwing it all out. I followed the recipe to a T so I know that's not the problem either. Too bad, but I'm glad I found out what it was like.

    Yu-um!
My family isn't a fan of peanut butter; however, it was still great even without it. My girls are already asking when I'll make it again.
