I loved this sandwich! The olive sauce sounded unpleasent but it was what made this sandwich great!! I used a hoggie roll instead, and I used turkey and ham with cheddar cheese since that was what I had on hand..but it was perfect. I also, instead of the brick idea, used my George Formin and put the sandwiches on it and pressed it down and it made a perfect panini...

This was just OK without the raisins but I thought they ruined the sandwich.

Excellent! The spread adds a sweet, tangy flavor. Didn?t have any Spanish olives so substituted Sicilian olives. We used a loaf of French bread. Also didn?t have any deli roasted pork so alternated three layers each of mozzarella cheese and sliced ham. Unfortunately someone rated the recipe negatively before even trying it because this is a five star sandwich!
