    This rice was the perfect edition to my dinner menu. The flavors were great and even the teenagers loved it. A definite recipe for my collection.

    Thank you Ingrid for this fantastic recipe! I never knew how to make red rice myself, except from the old school way my mother in law makes hers and taught me how to do (which is delicious, by the way. However, this has what my husband calls a "more gourmet flavor". This rice is easy to do and absolutely delicioso!!

    This dish is economical and delicious. I didn't have the achiote powder, so I substituted some smoked paprika and a little cayenne pepper and it worked out well. This was a great side dish with our tacos.
