This recipe is great. I love salt and vinegar chips and I always put vinegar on my fries. Adding vinegar to the potatoes as a marinade is great. The chili powder gives it a nice kick. Cooked perfectly at 350 degrees. This is a keeper.

I added Chipoltle chile powder and this recipe sang! This is now on our 'must make often' list!

A prior reviewer misread the instruction - cook 40 min, add onion and cook 20 min longer.

These potatoes didn't have as much flavor as I anticipated. I cooked them on 375 for one hour and they still were not cooked. I'm not sure if I will make this recipe again.

I made this recipe last night, but read the reviews and watched the show today.
***NOTE** the show has her baking potatoes for 40 mins, then add onions and then bake another 20. And there was no chipotle... so my guess, the site has incorrectly written this recipe. 2nd NOTE: they were great! I par-boiled just a tad, but also did russett and sweet potatoes for something different. I also used Ancho chile powder for a little more smoke and used shallots instead of red onion. They were awesome. Will make again and again!

This recipe was a great change in a old favorite "roasted potatoes", the house was just fill with the aroma of them cooking. The taste was just top draw this will be my family's favorite from now on. Easy to make and simple to put together the only thing i did different was to par boiled the potatoes ( i put whole potatoes in cold water and brought it to a boil for 2-3 minutes, other than this nothing, they were great

First off, you need to cook these for closer to an hour, then take them out of the pan. Otherwise, on 350, they're not even close to cooked. Second, take it easy on the vinegar. I LOVE vinegar, and this made me gag a bit.

OK. Love it! and the vinegar adds a lot of flavor, really delicioso, but why you call the potatoes "chipotle"?
    Yummy though.
