Very easy and taste great. I did have a hard time finding the Fire Roasted Tomatoes but, well worth the search. I pureed the left over juice and veggies and made a nice sauce. Husband loved it. A keeper.

I was expecting more from this recipe. The pork did fall apart and was very tender, but since you only add 1/2c. of the liquid back to the pork, there was just no flavor.
I also expected a more pickled flavor from the onions, but I think you would have to 1 double or triple the liquid, and 2 boil the onions in the liquid for at least 5 minutes.
But, I'm not going to make it again--my family didn't eat it.

This was so easy to make! The house smelled great when I got home from work. We made it our own by putting the pork over white rice with black beans and diced tomatoes and onions! My sister loved it so much she copied me and made it at her house again the next week!

I am a old fashioned Hispanic woman that was raised to cook "Traditional" Hispanic foods from my mom. I can whip up from scratch a batch of enchiladas and homemade tortillas in less than an hour like a little factory. I needed a "NEW"recipe for pork AND SOMETHING OTHER THAN CHILE VERDE.I found this one! My family does not like the taste of any meat made in a crock pot or slow cooker, so I always do it the long hard way..This recipe is FANTASTIC! Its tasty, flavorful, easy to make! I did sub a can of roasted chipotle peppers in adoboe sauce, (what I had on handfor the chopped chipotle peppers and a can of chopped tomatos for the fire roasted. It was Great! My family loved the flavor, the condiments, especially the pickled onions! The small amount I had left was enough for BarBQ Pork Sandwiches. I also made a pot of Frijoles Borrachos to go along..A new food tradition and favorite!

I am always looking for a simple slow cooker recipe and this meal really was as easy as the video made it look. Other than using a pork butt and flour tortillas, I prepared everything else the same. Having lived in Arizona all of my life, I love my Mexican food and this dish was a nice twist from the traditional. The onions especially were a big hit and I think I will be making these all the time now. What a delicious, flavorful meal!

I was a little skeptical. I watched the video and she made it look easy. It was. And so good. No leftovers at my house. Didn't make the onions but will next time.
Didn't have cabbage so just used lettuce, it was fine.
