    4 Stars: Great balance between the cilantro & fresh ginger (I added extra ginger to give it a little more "bite". I also couldn't find any thin sliced bread, so I used basic white, it worked out fine. Next time, I think I'll use more cream cheese & less butter, maybe a 50/50 blend, for a creamier spread. Very tasty alternative to dill!

    This one is a real crowd pleaser. I served it at a party and just didn't have enough. It's delicious, light, and smooth. Great recipe!

    Good recipe...
    although we modified and used dill instead of cilantro.
    Everyone loves smoked salmon.

    I made this the first time for an awards banquet at my office and it was praised! I made it simple, though, and just bought sliced little party bread, so the only thing that took any time was making the butter. Also, instead of topping with another slice of bread I served it open face with a tiny piece of cilantro for garnish
