Burgers are delicious, but the mustard sauce was too much. It was better when I reduced the amount of mustard.

So good! We only use 1 pound of hamburger- b/c otherwise the burgers would be too big. My husband and 3 year old daughter love these burgers!

This easily makes 6-8 good sized, moist burgers that are flavorful and delicious. I also like some chopped jalapenos on top for some heat.
Since the cheese cubes melt on grills, I'd recommend cooking them on a little bit of alumninum foil with cooking spray so that they're easier to flip.

Made 8 burgers, they were really nice. Would shred the cheese, rather than grate next time.

The sauce also is great smothered over grilled corn which we had alongside our burgers. Instead of 4 humongous burgers, we ended up making 8 smaller ones that were still plenty big enough. Really yummy burger

This has got to be the best burger ever. My grown sons even want the recipe. My husband even likes them. Thanks so much for your ideas! Now for a BBQ, I know my hamburgers will be a hit! Thanks again! Looks like a lot of ingredients, but it's really not that much and gets easier each time making them. Hope all try them and let us know what you and your family think. I may try blue cheese in mine and try for something different. Will let you know.

These burgers are absolutely delicious! I looked at other reviews first and (based on several comments reduced the amount of beer a little bit. I didn't reduce it by much, and my burgers were incredibly moist - but not so much that they fell apart. Other than that, I followed recipe exactly. All I can say is these are amazing burgers - lots and lots of flavor!!!

This is my hubby's favorite recipe.... get this.... OF ALL TIME. He asks for these burgers constantly, but I can only take so much smoked gouda - it's so intense! These are very yummy. I'd reduce the amount of beer since they get a little liquidy, but other than that, I keep everything the same. The small chunks of gouda makes the burger so moist and delicious.

This burger was just okay for me. The cheese chunks in the meat didn't really add anything for me, and it just seemed like there was way too much liquid in this burger (and I even added less beer than the recipe called for. I did, however, really love the flavor of the cumin in the meat. :
