I had this made by a co-worker and it was fantastic! I was thrilled to see the recipe was from Food Network so I tried it myself yesterday. I have to say, ripe tomatoes are KEY to success and my tomatoes definitely needed more time on the vine. Nonetheless, I'm eating my unripe outcome and am looking forward to trying this again with really GOOD tomatoes.

This is a great base recipe -- all you need are fresh ingredients and a food processor : The olive oil is totally unnecessary in this recipe. I prefer a Serrano (or Serranos pepper in this instead. Cumin is good in it, too -- that might help those who think this is missing something.

I am not sure what is missing but this lacks flavor and it is a bit thin. Am going to experiment with a few add-ins to see if I can get the right balance.

I found this recipe to be bland and not flavorful. I added a lot more salt than it called for and it still lacked something. It does come out creamier than I thought but settles down after it's mixed. I wouldn't recommend this one if you're looking for a salsa with a lot of flavor.
