This was very delicious!!!! I only used one can of black beans, for me two would've been too much and I also only used half of the corn for the same reason. I love tomatoes so I added in more than the recipe called for and also added red onion and the salad was heavenly!!!! Will be making this again very soon!!!!

When we were watching the show, it looked delicious and sure enough it was! It was very easy to make. The cilantro really made the difference. I agree with adding red onion, it might add to the flavor. I also only added one can of black beans because I thought two might go overboard. Good job Jamie!

Just made this recipe and am blown away- so good! Since i'm poor I tried to made some adjustments to make this more cost effective. First off I used canned tomatoes, beans, and corn- all rinsed and drained well. And I also used bottled lime juice- because real limes are very expensive and not very juicy meaning you would have to buy a ton of them. To go with this salad I made a simple sirloin steak with a little southwest seasoning and it complimented the salad perfectly. This salad was also very quick to make- picking the cilantro leaves off was actually the most tedious step. This would be a great recipe to take to a potluck or barbecue, or to use as a burrito filling the next day.

Very tasty and easy to make. Even better if you double the tomatoes!!!

Salad was super easy to make and delicious. I have to agree with a previous review about the dressing being to bitter and has lack of taste. I added crushed red pepper and chopped red onions to my salad which gave the dressing a kick. Loved it after that!

When I saw this show on last weekend, I came to the computer to bookmark the recipe so I could fix it this week. I have just finished my supper of the salad and can't wait to share it with the rest of my family & friends. I made the recipe exactly as written but I think next time I may increase the dressing and add some sliced red pepper. But it was wonderful, and healthy to boot!

Dressing was great! Salad was easy to assemble...I used half the beans. My husband loved it...didn't even ask me where the meat was!

As I love almost anything southwest, I couldn't wait to try this recipe. I'm not sure what the problem was, but the dressing as written, was very bitter and lacked taste. Maybe my limes weren't ripe enough? I recitified the situation with a small amount of sugar and some white wine vinegar. Will definately make again. The roasted corn idea is great!

Very easy to make. Dressing was wonderful! The second time I made it I used roasted corn and added a clove of finely chopped garlic to the dressing. Still wonderful!
