LOVE THE BACON RECIPE. You must MUST cook it over low-ish heat, as the sugar burns easily. I recall Alex mentioning this during the show and SHE WAS RIGHT!

ONE SUGGESTION: Unless you have a pan that evenly distributes the heat, I suggest you place the bacon on a cookie sheet (foil first, for a super easy clean up and bake 325 degrees. You still have to keep an eye on it , but baking makes it easier to control.

This bacon is very popular with our guests. Highly recommended ~

Yummy! Something different to add to everyday bacon. I just cooked the bacon portion of this recipe and eggs in their grease. Great flavors, gone before I knew it!

I usually bake my bacon to avoid a rubbery experience (not sure what I always do. BUT, with this "wonderful recipe" the rub on the bacon did wonders. My husband couldn't believe how great they were- hot and sweet, sticky and chewy. The best way to do bacon on Saturday morning : Thanks, Alex!! My eggs were great... I left them sunny side up as you indicated and made sure I poured off the grease before I started them. These went great with the bacon. Breakfast was finger-licking good.

I am eagerly waiting for my hubby to get up so I can make this bacon and egg breakfast. for us. The spice rub is waiting and so is the bread to toast. The potatoes have been "blanched" and I will finish crisping them up while the bacon & eggs cook. Will make the donuts another time.
Maybe if I scream like I saw a mouse my husband will get up. Keep the great recipes coming Alex. I'm one person that loves your day off.

Please rate the recipes---not the chef. For those of you who think she is annoying, take a look in the mirror. Perhaps, there are some annoying aspects to your face and personality! The food is fabulous! What a perfect breakfast for a special day. Those of you who are so worried about the fat, why would you even try any of these recipes?!

What a great breakfast. I agree with Danielle. If you don't like the show or the host then watch something else. I use the rating system to judge the food. When people use it for other reasons we don't get a true rating. Please get on your soap box some place else.

I made this for Easter and we all loved it. And it was super easy. Thanks for another great recipe! And for the people commenting on her and not her recipes....there is another place to do that. Please don't mess up the rating of the recipe. Not fair for the rest of us who really want an honest opinion.
