Loved the mixture of cheeses and spicy flavor. I, like most of us, try to reduce my fat and calories. I used half pasta and half cauliflower. I also used half and half and low fat sour cream. Made a huge difference but the flavor was amazing. Also a good way to get kids to eat more veggies.

AMAZING! MY HUSBAND KEPT SAYING TO ME THAT HE DID NOT LIKE MAC AND CHEESE AND I TOLD HIM "OF COURSE YOU DON'T LIKE IT IF WHAT YOU'VE HAD IS KRAFT MAC AND CHEESE WITH THAT AWFUL MUSTARD COLORED CHEESE POWDER THAT IS NOT EVEN CHEESE BUT A "CHEESE PRODUCT".
MADE FROM SCRATCH WITH THIS RECIPE (PLUS I ADDED MASCARPONE HE ATE AN EXTRA HEAPING BOWL AND SAID THIS RECIPE WAS A KEEPER! THANK YOU SUNNY!

I would always be skeptical of Macaroni and Cheese recipes that stray from the norm, but Sunny hit the mark! The onions and spices brought a whole new dimension into the dish, and combined with the array of cheeses the Macaroni and Cheese developed into a legion of flavor.

Loved the spice of the pepper jack cheese, and the flavor of the dish was good all around, but I like a creamy mac n cheese and this was not creamy enough for me. If you like a firm mac n cheese, this would be a good one for you. I like mine to be gooey.
