Sooo disappointed! I couldn't wait to make this after seeing it on TV and reading all of the 5 star reviews. But despite all the cheese and liquids, it was kind of dry and very spicy. The best part was the croutons on top.

I have been trying to find a good mac and cheese recipe for a while now. I tried family members recipes but I just couldnt get the texture right. This recipe was simple and absolutely delicious! I made it for my husband and a few friends and they all devoured it. The flavor was great! Best mac and cheese I have ever had! I substituted half and half with evaporated milk and the heavy cream with 2% milk. It was so good. I am definitely going to continue to use this recipe. And I also made very small cubes of cheese so it melted perfectly. And my husband didnt like the bread on top so i scraped it off.

This mac and cheese blew me and my family away! My picky 4 year old even gobbled it up! I was worried it would be too spicy for her, but it was the perfect blend of spicy and savory.

I had a mac and cheese recipe and I started to do what she said which was if you had your own recipe to substitute it. Then I was like what's the point of watching the show and not trying the recipe.

Well let me be the one to tell you. THIS RECIPE WAS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! What really did it for me was the cayenne pepper and the nutmeg mix!! You get the heat and the sweet and man it's just soo good! But you can't over do it, it will definitely mess it up. I printed this up and added it to my recipe book cause this one is a MUST HAVE for all kitchens!!

Tasty does not cover this recipe. The mix of ingredients was stunning. What a dish. This IS really mac and cheese.
