    Made this last night for my husband and I. He took it for lunch today - he normally hates leftovers, but said last night that he wanted to take it today. I've tried several homemade mac & cheese recipes. This one wins so far. I never make anything exactly according to the recipe. After I started, I realized we didn't have any eggs, so I added more flour and less cream (didn't have 1/2 and 1/2 either. Didn't make the croutons either. Instead, I mixed plain bread crumbs w/ butter, parm cheese, garlic, and oregano; sprinkled it on and finished by broiling it on high for 1 min. Turned out great and made it into my recipe box.     We recently visited our daughter Robin in Atlanta, Ga. She knows how much her Dad likes Mac & Cheese and she made this dish. OMG!!! it was incredible. Not only did her Dad like it but so did I and I am not a Mac & Cheese lover. My compliments to the person who created this recipe and compliments to our daughter for a lovely dinner.

    I made this over the weekend; my fiance and I really enjoyed the dish, but it was very very cheesey. I plan on making it again, this time leaving out probably 1/4 of the cubed cheese and adding in another cup of pasta.

    Great recipe, my daughter loved the Mac and Cheese she is a Mac and chees lover and you know how hard to please teens can be. I used Monterey Jack cheese in place of pepper jack, it turned out really good!

    I have made this twice and every time I make it, I get raving reviews - even from the pickiest eaters! It's not too spicy so those who are sensitive to spiciness will love it, but it's spicy enough to get those who love spicy foods hooked!

    Try it, you'll love it!

    I made this recipe with the pan fried meatloaf in the bell peppers.This is such a wonderful comfort food!My family loved it!!I couldn't get over how easy this was to make-and it was OMG!!
    I would recommend this to anyone-IT's soo cheesy-The Pepperjack just gave it that unique taste!This HAS to be THE BEST Mac & cheese ever!

    I personally don't typically like homemade macaroni and cheese dishes, I think they're usually very bland. I made this a couple of months ago for a group gathering I went to and it was a HIT! It's cheeeeesssy AND spicy which I loved. Instead of cubing the cheese, I did shred it all, it seemed to help with it melting all the way through, I however, did not do the crouton/bread on the top, just added cheese to the top. There was hardly any leftover for me to take home and it makes ALOT. I will continue to make this dish should I want homemade mac n cheese. This was the first show of Sunny's I watched and I loved her and her cooking style. I will continue to try all her dishes!
