I made this exactly as directed and served it with the turkey/pepper ring meatloaf. It was extremely easy to make and quite good. This is going to be my mac & cheese recipe from now on, and I've tried many out there.

I thought I'd give this a try. I didn't put too much heat in it because I don't like hot, spicy foods. I did like the flavor the nutmeg gave it. Loved the croutons on it.

I made this after watching it made on tv this morning. The recipe sounded so good so I was very disappointed with the final results. There was way too much cheese and the sour cream/half and half/cream mixture made the dish too soupy. The only flavor I really tasted was the pepper jack. I have tried several other spicy mac and cheese recipes that were much better. I will not make this again.

Tasty and quick although a bit too much cheese for my liking so I only used 8 oz of cubed cheddar and 8 oz grated cheddar. I liked the heat of the cayenne and pepper but would be too spicy for my kids.

To the previous reviewer, here's a thought, maybe you should review the RECIPE after you've actually tried it. This rating system is not for you to vent your frustrations with the SHOW. That being said, this was fantastic Mac n' cheese although maybe a tad spicy for the kids which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I bragged to a friend last week that Sunny was no mac and cheese girl,her chicken and potatoes were so different,easy and good,and this week it's mac and cheese and greasy burgers in pepper rings,who needs it ???? TOO BAD
