    Yum!!! This is amazing mac and cheese. My husband was not thrilled to hear I was making mac & cheese for dinner. Then he tasted it. He now raves about "my" mac & cheese to his co-workers and friends. When he comes home and smells this in the oven he is one happy man. Thanks Sunny you made me a kitchen hero!

    After watching "the best thing I ever made" comfort food this morning, I thought I had made this Mac & Cheese. Looking back at my books (Before printing out another copy I had and made notes. As per spicy, Taste you pepperjack and go from there. As commented on a little bland OR not creamy enough SUB out the COLBY for Land o' Lakes American Cheese. Ask your Deli to slice a thick chunk aprox 8oz. I do a little bit of both chunks and shredded cheese. I love Barilla Germilli (corkscrews for the pasta. They are like an "elbow and a half" with tiny ridges. Panko is the way to go for the topping. Does not melt into mush on leftovers. I did toast the Panko with a little butter, sprinkle of garlic powder, parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley. Ugogal Sunny Anderson!

    Thanks, Sunny for an awesome recipe. I've been looking for a little something different to add some interest to my usual mac & cheese recipe, and your version was just what I've been searching for. Loved the creamy texture and hit of spice that didn't overpower the pasta. Great left over too!

    This was the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. I used panko instead of bread crumbs and added bacon. I love Sunny and her recipes!
