Da Bomb!!! This is the best mac and cheese I've ever had. It's moist, cheesy a little spicy and creamy. WoW! Lovin' it!!!

I have always struggled with following a good mac and cheese recipe. Sunny's recipe not only is easy to follow, but is a hit with all I serve it to! If you are one whose mac and cheese NEVER tastes the same, try this recipe. You will not go wrong! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND FUN TO MAKE!

I liked it alot. But I will say it wasn't creamy how I like it. Probably what I will do is used shredded cheese instead of cubes. The onions have a great taste...oh I also sauteed my onions...yummy.

I do want to clarify that I LOVE the old recipe...some of the comments say this was not gooey and cheesy. I have only had this issue when I did not cook the recipe properly. When I have followed the recipe to a T, it has been dead on. I have had people who do not like macaroni and cheese come back to the baking dish for seconds. Just didn't like the new changes that's all.

This was outstanding !!! I followed the recipe with the exception of a few things, most importantly the pasta. It is not 2 cups cooked, for a 2 qt baking dish, it is a 16 OZ/1 LB bag or box...
I also substituted dried minced onion for "finely grated" and I used panko for a topping and skipped the "bread cubes". For an extra kick I added 1/8 tsp. of Penzey's Ancho Chili powder. WOW. Deeeelish !!!

Made this meal awhile ago and I must of put to much nutmeg because it tasted like I was just eating mutmeg. I will remake this just without the nutmeg.

Just okay. This mac and cheese was lacking creaminess. I agree with other reviewers it wasn't spicy enough. This recipe was more like a casserole than a mac and cheese. I prefer stove top recipes more. The croutons were the most exciting part of it all.

It could have been creamier and lacked flavor. I would use this recipe as a base and add bacon, more cheese and maybe a little tomato sauce.
