This has some good "bones" but it will need a little tweeking. I thought it needed to be creamier so will adjust the recipe. It could be a little spicier so will add a little more cayenne pepper. I bought a loaf of good crusty Tuscan bread and made the croutons from this. I also served the bread with the meal and it all tied in. Next time I will serve a side salad with a good balsamic dressing to go along with the meal.

I added some butter for richness, but when I tasted the pasta before baking it, it was very bland to me. I had to add a lot more salt and pepper and it still tasted bland to me after taking it out of the oven. It wasn't creamy, but I think that me be the brand of cheese I bought. I am going to try it again with a better brand of cheese. I thought that it had potential, but definitely needed more seasoning.

Brought this to the fire department for the guys and everyone absolutely loved it with the spices. I will cook this again. To save time I just crushed croutons and put them on top.

This was pretty good, but I'm not sure it's The Best Thing I Ever Made. We liked the spice, but it was a little too heavy and greasy for my tastes. I shredded all of the cheese (instead of cubes, used onion powder instead of the grated onion, and subbed skim milk for the cream. If I do make it again I'll cut back on the cheese - maybe leave the colby out altogether.

This recipe is not the same as what I saw you make on "The Best Thing I ever made" but its pretty close and both are named Spicy Mac & Cheese.....I have to say I used the cheese listed in that recipe and not this one....Colby, Cheddar and Montery Jack (Pepper Jack and I'm in love.....I woke up this morning thinking about it and went to 2 stores in the pouring rain to make get everything and only made that for dinner and I'm so happy with it, I will be using this from now on.........

Frankly I am quite surprised that this wasn't better. I read pages of reviews and though this was going to blow my mind. Don't get me wrong, it was good Mac'N'Cheese but if this is truly Sunny's "Best thing I ever made" I don't think I will be trying out anything else she makes.
I could hardly feel the heat in this mac. Also it wasn't as melty and gooey as it was made to look on TV. It was good right out of the oven but leftover reheated are terrible.

This is my first recipe that I have tried of Sunny's. I absolutely loved this recipe! I did not use the dry mustard because i didn't have any and didn't think it would alter the taste too much but other than that I followed the recipe. I will use this recipe for my mac n cheese from now on. I loved the cheese combination. The only thing I would change is to add more cayenne to it because I love spicy foods! Just creamy and deliscious!!

FABULOUS!! I can't believe someone would write a negative review based on it being too spicy...hence the name SPICY MAC AND CHEESE! It was delicious, creamy and everything you would hope for in a mac and cheese recipe. Loved it and everyone should make it. And it's not overly spicy so ignore ignorant comments!!
