My mother introduced this recipe to me and I have been making it for a couple of years now. It is a favorite of the boy friend who loves eating over rice instead of noodles and I agree. For that I often only cook enough shrimp for two but make the entire amount of sauce. A fun twist is to double the sauce and add broccoli florets.

One reviewer said Robin is off the air. That's horrible. She makes sensible foods that are easy, practical, and yummy. I do not comment on her food often because any experienced Mom Wife Mother has been cooking something similar and familiar for years.

Robin is slim and looks great--the kind of chef we should all be looking to for inspiration, not the chubbies or the can opener "tini" maker.

I saw this recipe and tried it on a whim. I'm not a huge fan of seafood but this recipe was perfect. It was so quick and simple to prepare. Even better...My husband loved it too!

I always wanted to try shrimp a different way. When I saw this recipe I said "what the heck I'll give it a try". I made this for dinner and all my family was commenting on how delicious it was... Since then it's part of our menu. :

I doubled the sauce but did not double the red pepper flakes and it was still super spicy. Yes, I used a hefty 1 tsp of red pepper flakes, but my family (adults were able to tolerate the heat, but barely and we like spicy. With the spice toned down ths dish could be rated higher than a 5. Plus it was so quick, it took longer to cook the rice we had with it than the shrimp.

I've been making this recipe since I first saw it last year. I can't say enough good things about it. It has become a meal that we go to again and again. I only wish that Robin were still doing new shows and not just repeats. Food Network, you really lost someone great here!
